November 18, 2004Kevin Reese is Fiducial's lending manager and heads up the company's
mortgage services operation. He prides himself on achieving fiscal accountability through
business growth, profit growth and managing multiple employees and offices from the new employees to the 10-year veterans.
At the top of his agenda is helping each Fiducial workplace from the franchisees to the corporately owned
offices obtain the applicable mortgage lending license in each state. He plans to contact the franchisees to
arrange for either onsite training or group training to familiarize themselves with the best practices of the industry.
Fiducial is currently licensed to sell mortgages in seven states but have an additional 12 states scheduled
to be completed by the end of 2004. Among these states are Washington State, Virginia, Oregon, South Carolina,
Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. Arizona should be on tap at the end of January 2005.
"We have no where to go but up between the foot traffic that is generated by the accounting offices,"
said Reese who holds a BS in management from Purdue University. "We're going to put standing 8-1/2 by 11 flyers
in each of the accounting offices through tax season to bring attention to Fiducial's mortgage services which will
increase the buzz of different offerings."
Reese maintains that each of the franchisees are going to have a different avenue to create revenue or another
reason to contact a client for additional revenue.
"Whether it's referral based, each time you have a reason to speak with the client is another reason to sell
to a client," he said. "So they don't have to go to the bank for a mortgage or an IRA or walk down the street
to another CPA. With the addition of mortgage services, the less likely the client will be to move service to someone else."
With 15 years experience as a product manager Reese knows what it takes to succeed in the sales arena.
"Running the product line is a very exciting opportunity," he said. "It's something that
has a lot of potential. With hard work and the process in place it's going to be a very exciting profitable endeavor
for Fiducial."
Clients are going to benefit from the crossover of services, program options and multiple amounts of information
provided by Fiducial's network of more than 500 company-owned and franchise offices. According to Reese, the biggest
servicing point for potential clients coming to Fiducial is its ability to provide a one-stop shop for each of its many services.
"Fiducial is going to have your best interest in mind because we don't have to rely on one facet to survive,"
he said. "Whatever the right direction needs to be taken we're going to be able to provide it. Whether it's a rollover
IRA or tax breaks and benefits, there are certain things that an accounting firm can provide rather than going to a competitor."
